Evans funeral home announces the death of Bessie Geneva Mitchell Sanders, 74, of Jefferson who entered into rest April 15, 2017 at her residence.

Ms. Sanders was born January 11, 1943 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Charles Ceburn and Emma Tucker Mitchell.  Ms. Sanders was of the Baptist Faith and was a Homemaker.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Donna Chambers, Dacula, Georgia, Rhonda Ackerman and husband Scott, Jefferson, Georgia, Lonna Pendley, Nicholson, Georgia, and Johnna Wilson and husband Donnie, Winder, Georgia, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several Nieces and nephews in Mississippi and Florida also survive.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
