Mr. James Lamar Morgan

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James Lamar Morgan, age 65 of Commerce, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, March 21, 2018.  Mr. Morgan was born in Commerce, Georgia the son of the late Doyle Banks Morgan and the late Vivian Louise Garrett Morgan. 

Mr. Morgan is survived by two aunts, Virginia Gailey of Commerce and Mildred Garrett Broussard of Toccoa.  Several cousins also survive. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2018 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Whitehead officiating with burial to follow in Apple Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Ray Gailey, Mark Gailey, Michael Gailey, Darrell Garrett, Larry Garrett, Ricky Garrett and John Craig.    

The family will receive friends, 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2018 at the funeral home, prior to the service.
