I just returned home to Florida after attending my beloved Uncle Vic's memorial and celebration of life in Georgia. There was such an outpouring of love and admiration expressed during this sweet time of rememberance. Paul, Julie and Anthony so eloquently and lovingly spoke about the man they called Dad and Pop-pop. We will all miss this wonderful man who I am proud to have called my uncle. He is now reunited with his parents, brother. two sisters and daughter. Until we meet again, Uncle Vic, I will carry many beautiful memories of you in my heart.

But for life scattering us all over this world, I would love to have been able to see my Uncle Vic more. I often re-play times we had together, which were always happy, full of his quick wit and unique humor. He and Dad took me to my first big league game to see the Braves play. I loved my Uncle Vic

Words are hard to find that make any difference when you have to say a temporary goodbye to someone you love but I still believe we'll all be together someday! Till that day comes we grieve but they rejoice and to them it'll be a blink of an eye's worth of time till we're w/ them. I can take solace in that for now knowing that to Mom she won't feel that she has been away from any of us long, as with my Uncle, her dear brother. We bear the passage of time. I imagine the singing and the hugging that must be going on between them all right now and all the joyous reunion. Here, we get through one day at a time through prayer and each other. We love them always and we miss them always till we see them again, but that's okay because that life with them will be eternal and this one was just a glimpse. Grieve as you need knowing you'll get through this rather than over it. Soon, the grief will turn to sweet sorrow and memories long forgotten that come back to comfort you all. Love never dies! Not ever!
All my love and prayers are with you as you go through this very difficult time.
May God's blessings find you even in this time and may His peace be with you!

Our sincere and heartfelt sympathy is extended to everyone in the family due to the passing of such a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to so many who loved, respected and admired him.
'Uncle Vic' will always be remembered as a 'soft-spoken', kind and considerate man who loved his immediate and extended family very much. We will miss him. Lovingly, Niece/Cousin Carol and family
