Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. William Wharton Hollenback Sr., age 82, of Jefferson, who passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. Mr. Hollenback was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a son to the late Edwin E. and Margaret Wharton Hollenback. William Wharton Hollenback, Sr. was a man of many talents and could bring a smile to anyone's face. Builder, Inventor, Racer, Father, Husband, Brother. He was endlessly creative and able to find solutions when others would give up.

Survivors include his sons, William Wharton Hollenback, Jr. and his wife Cora of Monroe, Edwin E. Hollenback and his wife Anna of Pottstown, Pennsylvania and David Hollenback of Carbondale, Colorado; sisters, Christine Cameron and her husband Charlie of Roxbory, Maine, Michel Hollenback Bowers and her husband Michael of Jefferson and Margaret Hollenback of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, C.J. Hollenback, Christopher Lee, Connor Hollenback, Cole Hollenback, Morgan Hollenback, Conner Hollenback and Molly Hollenback.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, April 13, 2017 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home.
