Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Lou Ella Jackson Bullock, age 89 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, November 9, 2017.  Mrs. Bullock was born in Opelika, Alabama,, a daughter of the late Gillis Leon Jackson and the late Mattie Bruce Carroll Jackson, and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Bullock was a member of the Jefferson Garden Club, and The First Baptist Church of Jefferson where she was active in the Church Circle.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bullock is preceded by brothers, sisters, and her daughter and son in law, Beverly and Gary Clark, along with her late husband, Floy Bullock.

Survivors include one son, Glenn Bullock of Jefferson.  Two granddaughters, Mitzi Dunagan and her husband Mitchell of Cleveland, Georgia, and Candice Turner and her husband Trey of Dublin, Georgia.  Five great grandchildren and one great - great grandchild also survive.  In addition to her family, Mrs. Bullock is also survived by her loving Caregivers at Bentley Assisted Living, and special friends Susan Moore of Athens, Allen Moore of Atlanta and Jacob Moore of Athens.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 12, 2017 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Helms and Reverend Richard Dickson officiating with burial to follow in Jackson Memorial Park, Commerce, Georgia. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Fred Gurley, Phil Thurmond, Justin Dunagan, Brooks Teal, Michael Stewart, Allen Moore and Jacob Moore.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, November 11, 2017, 5:00 – 7:00 P.M..
