I wish I could have met your aunt. I served as her Wieuca deacon contact for the last few months. I hope she was able to acknowledge the cards I sent. As a church member for 38 years, perhaps our paths crossed. From reading her obituary and condolences, I can she was quite a great lady.

We were sorry to hear of "Aunt Betty" passing. Such a nice pic of her in her Navy blues. She was a wonderful friend of Sarah McDaniel, Doug's Mother. We all enjoyed visiting with her. Your family are in our thought and prayers

I was in Ms Mac's chorus several years at Milton High School 1957-59 and loved it. I was often the accompanist and this was an important part of my life leading me into a degree in Music. I wished I had known then that she had been in the Navy as I not only taught Music and became an organist, but I also worked as a civilian in the Army and retired from The Department of Veterans Affairs. I still work part time as a Director of Music/Organist at St. John's Lutheran Church in Walhalla, SC. Even though we lost contact through the years, I wish to tell all the family how much She meant to me. God blesses all who mourn and promises eternal life with Him. Peace and blessings to each of you.

I had Ms. Mac in Art class at Milton High in 1958. She was my favorite teacher. I went to visit her twice when she was at senior living facility in Roswell. She was a delight to talk to about most anything you wanted to talk about. I didn't know about her many years of military service until our visits. She was one of a kind and will be missed. I glad she was with us so long. I'm sorry for your loss.

Fair winds and following seas shipmate. Your incredible service to this great nation is what makes America great. I had never known your name until today but your story is a living testimony to your commitment to a cause greater than ones self. Thank you.

In your sorrow, may there be peace…….In your thoughts, may there be love…...In your hearts, may there be healing. Psalm 147:3 promises:”He heals the brokenhearted, He binds up their wounds.”
