Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Ricky Duane Smith, age 61, of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Mr. Smith was born in Broward County, Florida, a son to the late Zeb Neal Smith and the late Helen Todd Smith. Mr. Smith was a Salesman with West Orlando Motorsport.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Sarah and David Barrett of Gainesville, sons and daughter in laws, Jeffery and Lindsey Smith of Gainesville, Spencer and Kayla Smith of Braselton; brother and sister in law, Gary and Sandy Smith of Jacksonville, FL; 3 grandchildren, Kaylie Barrett, Cooper Barrett and Bryson Smith.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 1:30 – 4:30 PM at the Martha Hope Cabin, 528 Prior Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.

In lieu of flowers, the Life South Blood Mobile will be present at the service, for those who wish, to give gift of a donation of blood in memory of Ricky.
