Mr. Floyd Bennett Obituary

Mr. Floyd T. Bennett, born 1932, Houston, Texas passed 2024. He was a Navy Veteran and proud graduate of the University of Texas. He retired from Northrup Gruman.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Taylor Bennett and mother, Louise Lanagan Bennett. First wife, Maggie Duke Bennett, and step son Joey Derda.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie J. Bennett, brother, Jon Bennett (Sandy). Step daughter, Kathleen Derda (Becky Lee), step son, John Derda. Daugther, Katherine Pearson, two granddaughters, Heather Healox and Savannah Pearson. Three great grandchildren also survive.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
