Mr. Clifford W. Smith

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Clifford Wayne Smith, age 70, of Jefferson, GA, who passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Mr. Smith was born in Warsaw, Missouri, to Mrs. Lila Davis Smith of Altamonte Springs, Florida and the late Mr. Everett Smith. Mr. Smith was a Vietnam Veteran, a Purple Heart Recipient and Decorated War Hero. Yet it is not his service to our country that we are most grateful for but his worship of our King. “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor.” ~ Judges 6:12...and today, He truly is.  In addition to his father, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Irvin Smith.

He leaves a wife of 50 years, Victoria Lane Smith of Jefferson, two children, Barrett Smith and his wife Jennifer of Eagle Mountain, Utah and Sherry Smith Grant and her husband Jeff, of Jefferson, GA; sister, Dee Hall and her husband Terry of Altamonte Springs, FL; brother, Keith Smith and his wife Phyllis of Winter Garden, FL; eight Grandchildren and five Great-grandchildren also survive. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Corner-Stone Church, with Rev. Barry Smith officiating.
