Mr. Douglas Ray Brown

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Douglas Ray Brown, age 69, of Jefferson, who passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Mr. Brown was born in Duluth, Georgia, a son to the late Willard D. Brown and the late Geneva Christine Barrett Brown. Mr. Brown was a Truck Driver for Cantrell Forrest Products in Jefferson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his son, Michael Brown.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Laurie and Reverend Eddie Whiting of Jefferson; sister, Sherry Spruill of Braselton, grandchildren, Jarin Owens and Brenan Owens of Jefferson and his great Aunt, Shirley Noe, of Suwanee.

The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Peachtree Road Baptist Church Cemetery in Suwanee. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, at the Graveside, prior to the service.
