Mr. Herman Reynolds

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. John Herman Reynolds, age 87 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Mr. Reynolds was born in Maysville, Georgia a son of the late James Arthur Reynolds and the late Ola Mae Davidson Reynolds, attended The Jefferson Church, was a retired farmer and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds is preceded in death by sisters, Mary Lorena Johnston, Annie Grace Beatty and Ola Christine Reynolds and brothers, James Ralph Reynolds, William Carl Reynolds and Louis Monroe Reynolds.

Survivors include a sister, Sara Frances Hanson and her husband Harris of Jefferson, two brothers, Joseph Clarence Reynolds and his wife Barbara of Cornelia, and Wylie Eugene Reynolds and his wife Barbara of Jefferson.  Niece and caregiver, Mary Ann Barnwell of Jefferson, and a number of other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, April 13, 2018 from the Pendergrass Baptist Church with Reverend Clarence Reynolds officiating with burial to follow in the Pendergrass Baptist Church Cemetery.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers will be Joey Reynolds, Chad Robinson, Matt Allen, Mark Reynolds, Johnny Beatty and Mike Nabors.  Flowers are optional, those desiring may make memorials to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, Georgia  37214.  The family will receive friends, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
