Mr. Howard William Crane

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Howard William Crane, age 90 of Maysville, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, August 16, 2019.  Mr. Crane was born in Homer, Georgia, a son of the late Jim and Ella Mae Presley Crane, was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and was retired from SCT and Buhler Yarns after forty three plus years of service.  Mr. Crane was an expert Gardener and could repair most anything.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife, Polly Sue Hunter Crane of Maysville.  Children, Tim and Kaye Crane of Commerce, Danny and Rebecca Crane of Maysville and Susan Mealor of Maysville.  Sisters, Margie Drake and her husband David of Jefferson, Eva Guidry and her husband Paul of Atlanta.  Brothers; Ed Crane of Nevada and Jimmy Crane and his wife Shirley of Maysville.  Grandchildren; Abby Crane, Katie Lucia, Brandon Crane, Crystal Mealor, Matt Mealor and Kenny Langston.  Three great grandchildren; Jackson Dyer, Jeremiah Dyer, and Mark Lucia.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 18, 2019 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Mealor and Reverend Larry Dyer officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends, 6:00 - 9:00 P. M., Saturday, August 17, 2019.
