Mr. James Junior Peek

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James Junior Peek, age 89 of Commerce, who passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Mr. Peek was born on September 23, 1930 in Scottsboro, Alabama, a son to the late H.K. and Cordellia Stover Peek. Mr. Peek was a Carpenter and a member of the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy for sixty years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peek was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Peek. 

Survivors include his son, Reverend Danny Peek and his wife Sharon of Commerce, granddaughter, Pamela Gonzalez and her husband Fernando of Commerce, grandson, Stacy Peek and his wife Misty  of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Daniella, Bo, Antonio, Emma and Diego; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Chris Flowers and Rev. David Smith officiating. The burial will follow in the Cemetery of the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy.

The visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM on Friday, November  the Braselton Church of God of Prophesy, prior to the service.15, 2019 at 2:00 P.M..
