Jamie's obituary is a loving tribute to a fine man! You are all in my prayers at this sad time. The Godfreys grew up with the Stevens family through the family of Bonelle Stevens Hudgins and we loved every single member of both families. Jamie and Mama Stevens meant so much to us! We'll never forget Jamie and I know he will be missed very, very much.

Sarah, Pam and family. I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Stevens. He was ALWAYS so kind to me any time I ran in to him at Church or outside of Church. That is what I will remember about him. Kindness! You will all be in my thought and prayers in the coming days as you navigate this new 'normal' in your lives. It's so hard to watch people going about their lives as if nothing has happened and you have a gaping hole in yours! But. I know that y'all know WHO will fill that hole!!! LOVE TO...

God promises that he will soon wipe away and reverse the effects of this enemy that causes so much pain. Your precious husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend will be brought back to you and you will never have to experience the pain of losing him ever again. This is a promise from God! (Job 33:25; John 11:11-14, 44; Revelation 21:4,5)
