Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Larry Douglas Campbell, age 68 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Mr. Campbell was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, a son of the late Walter A. Campbell and the late Virginia McConnell Spencer and was a member of Cornerstone Church in Athens, Georgia.
Mr. Campbell is survived by three sisters; Mary Wallen of Morristown, Tennessee, Anne Roberts and her husband Walter of Jefferson, and Beverly Jackson of Jefferson. One brother; Alan Campbell of Bethlehem. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In accordance with Mr. Campbell’s wishes, his body was cremated and the family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
