Mr. Phillip Gene Worley Jr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Phillip Gene Worley Jr., age 44, of Jefferson, who passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Mr. Worley was born in Hall County, Georgia, a son to Mrs. Mary Sullen Evans and Phillip Gene Worley Sr. Mr. Worley was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Maysville and loved to sing karaoke. Mr. Worley was a truck Driver for the Universal Forestry Products in Jefferson and was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Worley.

Survivors include his loving wife of seventeen years, Rita Garmon Worley of Jefferson; daughters, Beth and Amber Worley of Maysville, Emily and Abby Worley of Jefferson, son, Isaac Worley of Jefferson; mother, Mary Sullens Evans of Gainesville, father and step-mother, Phillip G. Worley Sr. and Shelby Worley of Cleveland; sisters, Mariea Mathis and April Newell of Gainesville, brother, Paden Worley of Cleveland, granddaughters, Chloe Bohlman and Ava Worley; several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Maysville with Reverend Swayne Carlan and Reverend Carl Helton officiating. The body will lie in state in the Church on Monday from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to the service. The burial will follow in the Solid Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

The visitation for Mr. Worley will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home.
