Mrs. Ethel (Wiley) Waldron

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Ethel Wiley Waldron, age 88 of Commerce, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, March 14, 2018.  Mrs. Waldron was born in Bartow County, Georgia a daughter of the late Dock Freeman Wiley and the late Alice Marie Cochran Wiley.  Mrs. Waldron was a homemaker and worked in the food service industry.  Mrs. Waldron was a member of A Call to Salvation Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Waldron is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Waldron, two sons, Walter “Butch” Abernathy, and Tracy Waldron.  Four sisters, Margie Hart, Dottie Yearwood, Mary Duke and Mildred Bohannon. 

Survivors include daughters, Arlene Smith of Jefferson, Peggy Darlene Reeves of Commerce, Betty Sue Gazaway of Commerce, and Tammy Regina Hightower of Jefferson.  Sons, Lamar Abernathy of Maysville, Robert Waldron of Loganville, Wayne Waldron of Lilburn, Tommy Waldron of Hoschton.  Sisters, Frances Hall of Dacula, and Ellen Smith of Moultrie.  Brother, Roy Wiley of Cartersville.  Twenty-eight Grandchildren, seventy great grandchildren, and fifty six great-great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at A Call to Salvation Church with Pastor Arlene Smith officiating with burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth, Georgia at 2:00 P.M.  The family will receive friends, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Evans Funeral Home.
