I met Mr And Mrs star through my parents Terri and Angela Brock when I was about five years old. I've carried several precious memories with me over the last 33 years. Hanging out with Mr. star at the Cow pasture introduced me to my first sighting of a Brahma bull.
Not long after that Miss Gladys star, introduced me to the best tomato sandwich I've ever had. After that day she had me hooked. Every time we would visit her house I would have to have a tomato sandwich. She's the only woman I ever met that had the patience to completely peel the tomato before making the sandwich. Her love and kindness, is a great example of God's love for us. I also learned at their house that a dachshund dog does not like to have face-to-face conversations with small children ha ha....lesson learned. Mrs. Starr you are loved and missed, see you soon.

Darlene, we were all so sorry to hear about the passing of your dear mother, Gladys. What a sweet lady, and always thinking of others. I remember when she visited my father at Cypress because he was in need of cheering up. God bless you for being such a devoted daughter--I can see that you got your mother's compassionate heart and lovely smile. Jenna loved her as well, and was always so glad to see her. Blessings on you all and peace at this mighty time.

May the true God comfort you and your family with His promise to raise the dead at John 5:28,29 and to undo all the pain and sorrow that death causes at Revelation 21:3-5.

Dear Gladys thanks for all the love and fun you shared. You were as a mother to me when I was in need. You were a true friend with a big heart and plenty of creative ideas to keep us busy. You gave Terry and me courage to keep serving at the church when others didn't seem to care. Love you forever. See you in heaven.
