Mrs. Janice McMahan Obituary
Evans Funeral Home announced the death of Janice Wright McMahan, age 76, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019. Mrs. McMahan was born in Atlanta, Georgia a daughter to the late Chester and Marsha Bierman Wright. Mrs. McMahan was a loving wife, a passionate Mother, and a Nurse that took pride in her profession. She was also a Blue Bird leader and a lifetime member of the Morningside Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Mrs. McMahan was an ordained Elder and was President of the Women of the Church. Her last twenty-four years in nursing, she was a certified clinical research nurse at Emory University Hospital.
She leaves behind her husband, Theodore C. McMahan Jr., of Jefferson; daughter, Mary Marcia Winfrey, of Louisville, KY; Theodore C. McMahan III of Tucker; grandchildren, Eryn Bradley and Jake Winfrey; and a great grandchild, Mack Bradley also survives.
A Memorial Service will held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Memorial Garden at the Morningside Presbyterian Church, 1411 N Morningside Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.
The family will receive friends in the Family Room at 1:30 PM.
