Mrs. Kerry Lynn (Rutkowski) Akkent

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Kerry Lynn Rutkowski Akkent, age 52 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Monday, April 30, 2018.  Mrs. Akkent was born in New Jersey, a daughter of the late Bernard Rutkowski and Joan Nichols Rutkowski of Brick, New Jersey.  Mrs. Akkent was a member of St. Catherine Laboure’ Catholic Church and was a Technical Writer with Lucent Technology.

Survivors include her husband Murat S. Akkent of Jefferson, sons, Alec and Arin Akkent of Jefferson.  Sister, Sheryl Valente and her husband Vinny of New Jersey, brother, Bernard W. Rutkowski and his wife Deandra of New Jersey.  Brother in law Mehmet Akkent of Turkey and mother in law, Ayla Kalagoglu of Turkey and five nephews also survive.

Memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. Monday, May 7, 2018 from the St. Catherines Laboure' Catholic Church.
