Mrs. Melinda Faye (Prather) Moore

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Melinda Faye Moore, age 60, of Buford, Georgia, who passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Mrs. Moore was born in Athens, Georgia, a daughter to Mrs. Faye Tate Prather of Watkinsville and the late Mr. Franklin Prather. Mrs. Moore was a Shoe Department Manager with Wal-Mart. In addition to her father, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Marleigh Moore.

Survivors, including her mother, are husband, David Moore of Buford; daughter, Casey Grosskurth and Erik of Buford, son, Michael Moore of Buford, granddaughters, Madeline Moore of Nicholson, Maximus Grosskurth and Caius Grosskurth of Buford; sisters, Debbie O’Dillon and her husband Lee of Watkinsville and Pam Moore and her husband Ronnie of South Jackson.

The Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Lamar Scarbrough officiating.   

The visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.
