Mrs. Ollie Mae (Rainwater) Tate

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Ollie Mae Rainwater Tate, age 87 of Winder, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, June 16, 2018. Mrs. Tate was born in Atlanta, Georgia a daughter of the late Minor H. and Carrie Matilda Lewis Rainwater.  Mrs. Tate was a Beautician and Cosmetologist having owned her own shop for over fifty years.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tate is preceded by sisters, Frances Clossun, Meryl Tisdale, Elizabeth Morgan, and Helen Patton.  Brothers, Randolph Waters, Richard, James, Paul, Ronnie and Jerry Rainwater.  Husbands, Edward Pritchett, Jerry Hemphill, Larry Boyd and Odis Tate.

Survivors include four sons, James D. Pritchett and his wife Kathy of Jefferson, David P. Pritchett and his wife Nancy of Jackson, Chip Pritchett and his wife Shelly of Talmo and John L. Boyd and his wife Toyuko of Talmo.  Eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren and one on the way, also survive. 

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 18, 2018 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Jenkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce, Georgia.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
