Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Sara Nell Underwood Bruce, age 88 of Pendergrass, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, November 1, 2017.  Mrs. Bruce was born in Pendergrass, Georgia a daughter of the late David and Sara Smith Underwood, was a member of Pendergrass Baptist Church and was retired from Katherine’s Kitchen.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Bruce is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and her husband Leroy Bruce.

Survivors include three sons, Dean Bruce and his wife Connie of Jefferson, Gene Bruce and his wife Connie of Pendergrass, and Lynn Bruce of Commerce.  One brother, Henry Underwood of Pendergrass.  Six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild also survive.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 4, 2017 from the Pendergrass Baptist Church with Mr. Dwayne Major officiating, the family will receive friends at the Church following the service.
