Barbara Joan (Bowles) Holt

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Barbara Joan Bowles Holt, age 87, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, May 27, 2025.  Mrs. Holt was born August 22, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia a daughter of the late Leonard and Nettie Collett Bowles. Mrs. Holt was a retired management employee with Primerica Insurance company. She was Southern Baptist by faith. 

In addition to her parents Mrs. Holt is preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Marie Berrios.

Survivors include her husband, H. Lee Holt, Jefferson; son, Kip Holt, Jefferson, daughter, Cindy Holt (fiancé Mark McDaniel) Winder, son, Glenn Holt (Karen), Albany, New York, brother, Douglas Bowles, Alpharetta. Three grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 30, 2025 at Woodbine cemetery with Pastor John Strickland officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service Friday.
