Camden Preston Mahaffey

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Camden Preston Mahaffey, son of Jaylyn Butler and Jeremiah Mahaffey, who passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021. 

Survivors include his parents, Jaylyn Butler of Maysville and Jeremiah Mahaffey of Dahlonega; maternal grandparents, Holly “Grams” Butler of Maysville, paternal grandparents, April “Mimi” Rider and Chris Mahaffey both of Gainesville; maternal great grandparents, Doug and TC “Nana” Simonds of Maysville; paternal great grandparents, Linda “Nana” Rider and Madea Mahaffey both of Gainesville; maternal great great grandparents, Treva “Nanny” Cronic and Jimmy “Papa” Satterfield both of Maysville; aunts, Halie Parker, Jadea Mahaffey, Jenna Rider, Michaela “KK” Harris; uncles, A.J. Grayble, Josh Mahaffey and Justin Rider; several great aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Unity Christian Church in Maysville, with Reverend Daniel Browning officiating. The burial will follow in the Unity Christian Church Cemetery with Josh Mahaffey, Justin Rider, Doug Simonds and Jerimiah Mahaffey honored as pallbearers. 

The visitation will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home.
