Charles Andrew Rogers

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Charles Andrew Rogers, age 58 of Commerce, Georgia (formerly of Pendergrass) who entered rest Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Charles was born in Gainesville, Georgia, a son to the late John Edgar Rogers Sr. and the late Joyce Farr Wilkerson. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by step-father, R.C. Wilkerson, sister, Rhonda R. Monday and a nephew, Dylan Rogers.

He was survived by his brother, Eddie Rogers of Greenville, SC; sister, Judy Rogers of Flowery Branch; sister, Rachel Rooks and her husband Sammy of Cleveland; Brother-in-law, Larry Morton of Maysville; nieces and nephews, Andrea Moody, Derrek and Ashley Moody, Cassie Cheek, Whitney and Morgan Roy, Vanessa Gabriel, Lukas Sullivan, Austin Rogers; two great nephews and four great nieces also survive.

Even though he was unable to participate in sports due to his cerebral palsy, Charles was an avid sports fan, especially of the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. Charles brought joy and inspiration to everyone through his radiant smile and his unwavering love of life.

A private memorial service will be held on a later date by the family.
