El Sr. Gomez nació en El Salvador, hijo del fallecido Manuel Santana Gómez y la fallecida Leonarda Gómez Martínez. El Sr. Gomez fue miembro y un gran líder en el Tabernáculo de Winder, donde sirvió como diácono y ujier y estuvo involucrado en todas las áreas de la Iglesia. Además de sus padres, al Sr. Gomez le precede un hermano, Juan Gómez.

Le sobreviven su esposa, María Gómez de Bethlehem; niños; María Gómez de Bethlehem, David Gómez (Linda) de Lawrenceville, Melissa Gómez de Bethlehem; nietos; Nathaniel Gómez, Jeramiah Gómez, Emilia Gómez, Lilly Gómez y Daniel Rodríguez; hermanas; Vilma Gómez de Sanchez, Marina Gómez, Reyna Gómez, Rosalina Gómez, Ana Virginia Gómez de Quinteros y María Elena Gómez de Calderon; hermano, Miquel Angel Gómez Martinez; tía, Juanita Kile; tío, Pedro Martínez;

También sobreviven numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos y primos.

El funeral se llevará a cabo el sábado 2 de septiembre de 2023 de 2:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m sera el cuerpo presente en elTabernáculo de Winder. El servicio se llevará a cabo el sábado 2 de septiembre de 2023, de 7:00 p. m. a 10:00 p. m. en el Tabernáculo de Winder. El entierro tendrá lugar el domingo por la mañana a las 10:30 a. m. en Evans Memory Gardens en Jefferson, Georgia.

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Manuel Cristino Gomez Martinez, age 55 of Bethlehem, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Mr. Gomez was born in El Salvador, a son of the late Manuel Santana Gomez and the late Leonarda Gomez Martinez. Mr. Gomez was a member and a great leader at the Tabernacle of Winder where he served as a Deacon, and Usher and was involved in all areas of the Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gomez is preceded by a brother, Juan Gomez.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Gomez of Bethlehem; children; Maria Gomez of Bethlehem, David Gomez (Linda) of Lawrenceville, Melissa Gomez of Bethlehem; grandchildren; Nathaniel Gomez, Jeramiah Gomez, Emilia Gomez, Lilly Gomez and Daniel Rodriguez; sisters; Vilma Gomez de Sanchez, Marina Gomez, Reyna Gomez, Rosalina Gomez,Ana Virginia Gomez de Quimteros and Maria Elena Gomez de Calderon; brother, Miquel Angel Gomez Martinez; aunt, Juanita Kile; uncle, Pedro Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 7:00 PM in the Tabernacle of Winder. The visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 7:00PM in the Tabernacle of Winder, prior to the funeral service. The burial will follow on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM in the Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson, Georgia.
