Mr. Benson Randolph Benefield

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Benson Randolph Benefield, age 54, of Carnesville, Georgia, who passed away on March 19, 2026. Mr. Benefield was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, a son to the late Cecil William Benefield and the late Willie Lou Martin King. Mr. Benefield worked in the poultry business with Crystal Farms. He  enjoyed fishing and was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Benefield was preceded in death by his Brother and sister in law, Michael and Sherry Benefield, brother, Billy Benefield, sister, Alice Middlebrooks  and nephew, Dylan Gloss.

Mr. Benefield is survives by his siblings, Terry Benefield and his wife Vickie of Carnesville; David Benefield of Carnesville, Linda Mayfield and her husband Larry of Pendergrass, Yvonne Crist of Bethlehem, Michelle Arthur of Bethlehem, Thomas Benefield of Pendergrass and Dana Gloss of Toccoa; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins also survive.

In accordance with the wishes if Mr. Benefield, his remains were cremated and a private family Memorial Service will be held on a later date.
