Mr. Carl Gene Evans

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Carl Gene Evans, age 75, of Pendergrass, Georgia who entered rest Thursday, April 23, 2026. Mr. Evans was born in Commerce, Georgia the son of the late Aubrey Evans and the late Ruth Sullens Evans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Mr. Evans worked in the maintenance department with Wrigleys and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita S. Evans of Pendergrass, GA. Two sons, Johnny Evans (Heather) of Braselton, GA and Kerry Gene Evans (Brendy) of Hoschton, GA. Two grandchildren, Carly Evans of Atlanta, GA and Luke Evans of Braselton, GA.

In accordance with Mr. Evans’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
