Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Charles Michael Samples, age 64 of Sugar Hill, Georgia who entered rest Thursday March 16, 2023. Mr. Samples was born in Duluth, Georgia the son of the late William and Annie B. Johnson Samples.
Mr. Samples worked for Ryerson as a machine operator and was a member of Duluth Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Margaret Ann Samples of Sugar Hill, GA. Son, Joshua Michael Samples (wife, Heather) of Auburn, GA. Two grandchildren, Ken Michael and Arlen Francis Samples. Sister, Patricia Edwards of Oakwood, GA. Two brothers, Wayne Samples of Oakwood, GA and David Samples of Homer, GA.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday April 1, 2023 at Trinty United Methodist Church 1158 Old Peachtree Road, Duluth, Georgia 30097.
