Mr. Charles "C.L." Lowry Potts

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Charles Lowry “C.L.” Potts, age 89 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, November 25, 2020.  Mr. Potts was born in Jefferson, Georgia a son of the late Charlie and Leila Eckles Potts, was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member the Mount Vernon Masonic Lodge.  Mr. Potts retired from a long career with the Georgia Power Company.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Potts is preceded by a brother, Robert, and sisters, Ellie, Mildred, Norene and Emily.

Survivors include his wife Edna Earl Barrett Potts of Jefferson and ten nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 28 from the Jackson Memorial Park with Shanon Potts Willard officiating.  The family will receive friends 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. Saturday, prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. C.L. Potts to the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 4659 Brockton Road, Jefferson, Georgia. 30549.
