Mr. Daniel Bert Wiley

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Daniel Bert Wiley, age 72, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Mr. Wiley was born in Ashland, Kentucky, a son to the late Robert Ellis Wiley and the late Ruth Caldwell Wiley. Mr. Wiley was a mechanical engineer for over thirty years in the Detroit, Michigan area, specializing in auto part manufacturing. For the past twenty years, Mr. Wiley was a resident of Jefferson, where he was a stone and brick mason. Mr. Wiley was also a veteran, serving in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wiley was preceded in death by his daughter, Linae Wiley.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Wiley of Jefferson; brothers, Ellis Wiley of Catlettsburg, Kentucky and Dave Wiley of Jefferson, Georgia; grandson, Preston Wiley of Michigan; stepchildren, Marie Westafer of Ohio, Michael Ulrich of Kansas City, Missouri, Marc Ulrich of Merrillville, Indiana and Stephanie Smith of Sacramento, California.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Wiley will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Grove Level Baptist Church (The Grove), 1702 Grove Level Rd, Maysville, GA 30558.
