December 13, 1958 – April 10, 2021 (age 62)

Dean Conrad West, age 62, formerly of Chandler, AZ, passed away surrounded by family at the home of his brother in Winder, GA, after an extended illness on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Dean was born on December 13, 1958 in College Park, MD, the seventh of eight children. He is predeceased by his parents, Claude West and Gloria (Wise) West; a brother, Roger West; and a sister, Eileen West. He is survived by the mother of his two children, Edie Maske; by his sons Dean West, Jr. and John West; as well as his remaining siblings, Claudia (West) Guthrie, Clay West, Shari (West) Forbes, Eric West, and Tanya (West) Beatty. Dean attended Prince Georges Community College in Maryland and served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Iwo Jima. He recently retired from the phone company after many years and worked for both Bell Atlantic and ALLTELL.

Per the deceased’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral services.
