Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Dennis Lamar Perdue, age 72 of Pendergrass, Georgia who entered rest Saturday, April 19, 2025. Mr. Perdue was born in Commerce, Georgia a son of the late John Perdue, Jr. and Alice Ferguson Perdue of Jefferson. Mr. Perdue was involved in Car Sales for over thirty years, loved NASCAR, raising chickens and working in his yard, but most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren, Logan, Matt, Hunter and Ellie. Mr. Perdue retired from Buhler Industries. In addition to his father, Mr. Perdue is preceded by a brother James Perdue.
Survivors in addition to his mother and his grandchildren is his Companion of forty years, Betty Ann Deaton of Pendergrass. Sister, Kay Rainwater (Terry) of Macon. Children; Christy Richardson of Lavonia, Chris Richardson of Jefferson, and Greg Richardson of Jefferson. Great grandchildren; Candice, Kayla, John, Jessie, Braley and Riley.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 21, 2025 from the Pendergrass Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Randall Hulsey officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
