Mr. Dennis Darth Scott

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Dennis Darth Scott, age 84, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Thursday, January 2, 2025. Mr. Scott was born in Overland, Missouri the son of the late Morris Scott and the late Retha Marion Wolz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a sister, Twila Baker.

Mr. Scott worked as a Procurement Manager with Boeing. He loved to travel with his wife all over the United States in their fifth wheel RV and fixing and driving cars. He loved spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed watching spaghetti westerns on TV.  Mr. Scott was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Scott of Jefferson, GA. Three daughters, Kimberly Gresham (Steve) of Sandy Springs, GA, Leslie Duhaime (Mark) of Cumming, GA and Amy Scott (David) of Canton, GA. Two grandchildren, Olivia Poff ( fiancé, Mike) of Dawsonville, GA and Dave Scott of Canton, GA. Sister, April Womack (Jeff) of Panama City, FL. Two nieces, Ellen Schlueter and Casey Miller and one nephew, Scott Womack also survive. Companion pet, Charlie the cat. 

A celebration of Mr. Scott's life will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday January 13, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eric Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
