Mr. Donald Eugene Gentry, Jr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Donald Eugene Gentry, Jr. age 62 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Monday, November 9, 2020.  Mr. Gentry was born in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Donald Eugene Gentry, Sr and Rayola Mullins Walker of Virginia.  Mr. Gentry was a Black Jack Dealer for Harrah’s Casinos.  

Survivors in addition to his mother include three sons, Robert Gentry (Rachel O’Neal) of Jefferson, Nate Gentry (Katharine Eaton) of Monroe, and A.J. Gentry (Stephanie) of Winder.  Two brothers, Mark Gentry (Yurek), and Buddie Walker (Christie).  Sister, Kimberly Walker and eight grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 14, 2020 from the New Life Baptist Church, 2603 Rat Kinney Road, Statham, Georgia with Reverend Jeff Jett and Reverend Billy Lord officiating.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the Church prior to the service.
