Mr. Dorsey Randal Cochran

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Dorsey Randal Cochran, age 62, of Maysville, who passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Mr. Cochran was born on April 8, 1962, a son to Randal Cochran and Eva Mae Murphy Holmes. Mr. Cochran was an automobile mechanic and also worked in housing construction. Mr. Cochran was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Ruth Wade Cochran, his step-father who raised him, Arthur Thomas Holmes and his step-brother, Charles Holmes. 

Survivors include his mother, Eva Mae Holmes of Commerce; step sisters, Margaret Canup and her husband Terry of Winder, Joyce Marie Anderson and her husband Grady of Martin; step brother, Steve Holmes and his wife Deana of Maysville; step- sister in law, Sharon Holmes of Maysville; step-child, Dwayne Brock and his wife Bridget, step grandchildren, Avery Brock and Taylor Brock also survive.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Evans Funeral Home in Jefferson, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  In accordance with Mr. Cochran’s wishes, his remains were cremated.
