Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Douglas “Doug” Allen Catron, age 61 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, January 16, 2020. Mr. Catron was born in Duluth, Georgia a son of the late Robert And Lucille Beal Catron and was retired from Scientific Atlanta after twenty - five years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Catron is preceded by two brothers, Robert and Terry Catron.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Brannon Catron of Jefferson. Daughter, Mandy Dobbins and her husband Chris of Duluth. Four sisters, Carolyn Clayborne of Alabama, Andra Wilson of Dacula, Wanda Nash of Lula, and Marca Abernathy of Alabama. Brother, Ricky Catron of North Carolina. Sister and brother in law, Margaret and Mike Samples of Sugar Hill and brother in law Marvin Brannon of Buford.
Private memorial services will be held by the family.
