Mr. George Wallace Sears

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. George Wallace Sears, age 73, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Mr. Sears was born in Clarkesville, Georgia, a son to the late Rodan and Clara Miller Sears. Mr. Sears was a maintenance man at Mincy Imports and was a member of the Lighthouse Congregational Holiness Church in Maysville. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sears was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Abercrombie Sears and his son, Steven Sears.

Survivors include his sons, Chris Sears of Jefferson, GA, Stacey Sears of Athens, GA, Timothy Sears of Gainesville, GA and Justin Sears of Danielsville, GA;  one grandchild also survives.

In accordance with Mr. Sears wishes, his remains were cremated and no services are planned at this time.
