Obituary
Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Gregory Thom McGinnis, age 65, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Monday November 21, 2022. Mr. McGinnis was born in Appleton, Wisconsin the son of the late George H. McGinnis and the late Clara Liechtenstein McGinnis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Peter McGinnis and two brothers, Jack McGinnis and Tim McGinnis.
Mr. McGinnis worked as a security guard for A U Allied and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Jean Whitlock of Jefferson, GA. Son, Jason McGinnis of Illinois. Stepson, Robert Andrew Whitlock of Jefferson, GA. Brother, Michael McGinnis of Winneconne, Wisconsin. Six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Mr. McGinnis wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
