Mr. Hansel Harvey Williams

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Hansel Harvey Williams, age 84, of Talmo, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Mr. Williams was born in Jackson County, Georgia, a son to the late Grover and Verbie Grace Millwood Williams. Mr. Williams was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Pendergrass, where he served as a Deacon. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his sisters, Hazel Patterson, Peggy Shope, Blanche Stephens and his brother, Henry Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Williams of Talmo; daughters, Melanie Satterfield and her husband Ronnie of Clermont, Angela Hulsey and her husband Steve of Pendergrass; grandchildren, Captain Matt Satterfield and his wife Nicole, of Philadelphia, NY and Whitney Hulsey of Pendergrass.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Mountain Creek Baptist Church with Mr. Doug Pinion officiating. The burial will follow in the Mountain Creek Church Cemetery with Ronnie Satterfield, Steve Hulsey, Roy Evans, Chris Hayes, Stanley O’Dell and Tim Patterson honored as pallbearers.

The visitation will be held on Friday from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM at Mountain Creek Baptist Church, prior to the service.

Those attending are asked to maintain the recommended social distancing of six feet and please wear protective masks in accordance with guidelines concerning the Coronavirus.
