Mr. Harold L Bennett

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Harold L. Bennett, age, 88 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Saturday, January 18, 2026.  Mr Bennett  was born in Dayton, Ohio a son of the late Harold and Helen Stratton Bennett.   Mr. Bennett was a carpenter by trade having been employed by 22125 Local Union for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Slonkosky Bennett, Jefferson, Georgia; daughters, Melinda Bennett and Georgianna (Bill) Cook both of Ohio.

In accordance with Mr. Bennett’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
