Mr. Jason Patrick Bellew

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Jason Patrick Owens Bellew, age 49, of Colbert, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Mr. Bellew was born in Augusta, Georgia the son of Charles and Belinda Gail Owens Bellew of Lumber City, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Asbury Allen and Ruby C. White Allen and Tom Watson Bellew Sr. and Florence Hall Bellew  and a sister, Tiffany Hope.

Mr. Bellew worked as an metal fabricator with Tom Ellis Construction Company. He loved to read and write poems but most of all being outdoors taking pictures of nature and the surroundings. He was excellent at working with wood and metal, also enjoyed going to Flea Markets. Jason was a very generous gift giver.

Survivors include his parents, Gail and Charles Bellew of Lumber City, GA. Three sisters, Tara Bellew of Lumber City, GA, Rachel Bellew-Calhoun (Aldric) of Statham, GA and Jennifer Hill (Ben)  of Arnoldsville, GA.Two brothers, Luke Bellew and partner, Lincy Chacko of Danielsville, GA and Lester Joiner (Jenifer) of Dublin, GA. Fiance’, Tammy Elizabeth Parr of Memphis,TN. Cousins and caregivers, Shanna and Dee Dee Bellew. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. 

In accordance with Mr. Bellew’s wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held 1:30 P.M. Sunday December 21, 2025 at Watson Mill State Park 650 Watson Mill Road, Comer, GA 30629.
