Mr. Jeremy Matthew Nunn

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Jeremy Matthew Nunn, age 47 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, June 2, 2026.  Mr. Nunn was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia the son of Jimmy Don Nunn and Cheryl Harmon Nunn of Jefferson.  Mr. Nunn was the Grounds Coordinator for Athens Academy, a job that he loved because it meant that he could work outdoors.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and hiking.

Survivors in addition to his parents are a sister, Rachael DiPiazza, nephew, Nicholas DiPiazza, niece, Kaitlyn DiPiazza, Fiancé and her daughter, Lori Neves and Deborah Neves.

In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Nunn, his remains are to be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Athens Academy on a date and time to be determined.

Memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Jeremy  Matthew Nunn to Athens Academy at www.athensacademy.org to be used in the further beautification of the campus that he took such care and had pride for.
