Mr. Jerry Lee Phillips

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Jerry Lee Phillips, age 59, of Commerce, Georgia,  formerly of Dacula for many years, who passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Mr. Phillips was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 14, 1966, a son to the late Eugene and Frances Towler Phillips. Mr. Phillips was an electrician and serviceman in the overhead crane industry for over forty years. He was a member of the New Grace Church in Commerce and enjoyed sports, music, playing the guitar and banjo, hunting, fishing, and woodworking in his shop. In addition to his parents, Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his brother Keith Phillips and his brother in law, Loy Lawrence.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Tammy Reidling Phillips of Commerce; sons, Cody Phillips and his wife Ruthie Rodriguez of Lawrenceville and Logan Phillips of Commerce; granddaughter, Aubri; sister, Tracy Lawrence Richardson and her husband Al of Monroe; Jerry and his wife also lovingly raised and cared for Makayla West and Aaron Ryno; survivors also include several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the New Grace Church with Reverend Derek Anglin officiating.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home.
