Mr. Jimmy Leon Smith

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Jimmy Leon Smith, age 74 of Nicholson, Georgia who entered into rest Monday, March 29, 2021.  Mr. Smith was born in Tucker, Georgia, a son of the late Hubert James and the late Ruth Erma Stovall Smith. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked at Style Crest Mobile Home Manufacturing for over 20 years.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Spencer Smith.

Survivors include his daughter, Darlene Saenz of Lyons, Georgia, daughter, Dione Gaines of Nicholson, Georgia, son, Shane Smith of Winder, Georgia, son, Jamie Smith, daughter, Audrey Smith of Madison, Alabama;  seven grandchildren, Timothy Benefield of Winder, Georgia, Tiffany Gaines of Athens, Georgia, Kimberly Prosser of Sandersville, Georgia, Tesia, Gaines of Nicholson Georgia, Corey Prosser of Alpine, Georgia, Kylie Smith of Newnan, Georgia, Wyatt Gaines of Nicholson, Georgia; two great grandchildren, Anna Mashburn of Madison, Alabama and Raegan Gaines of Nicholson, Georgia also survives. 

A private family service will be held April 19, 2021 at Georgia National Cemetery.
