Mr. John Edward Adamson

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. John Edward Adamson, age 63, of Winder, Georgia, who entered rest Sunday, March 22, 2026. Mr. Adamson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, a son of the late Lilburn Maurice Adamson and the late Hazel Wells Adamson. A man of faith, John lived life to the fullest. He found his greatest joys in music, playing the drums, and the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle.

John dedicated thirty years of loyal service to Ernst Concrete, where he served as a Driver Safety Manager. He was known for his steadfast commitment to his profession and the many colleagues he worked alongside throughout his career.

Survivors include his sons, Arin Adamson (Louise) of Hoschton and Andrew Adamson of Hoschton, and his grandchildren, Lyla and Abby Adamson. He is also survived by his sister, Connie Peterson, and his loving partner, Sally Adamson, along with her daughter Jaime Pledger and children Sara and Cy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 1258 Reece Drive, Hoschton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. John Edward Adamson to a charity of your choice or to your local Humane Society.
