Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. John Hobart Schultz, age 76, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Monday July 6, 2026. Mr. Schultz was born in New York the son of the late John Francis Schultz and the late Mary Elizabeth Hobart Schultz.
Mr. Schultz worked as a consultant in the Human Resource Department at Georgia Tech and he also worked as a mediator with Gwinnett County. Mr. Schultz enjoyed following and watching the Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators and the Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include his daughter, Christine Sieverts (Christopher) of Jefferson, GA. Three grandchildren, Ryker, Ezra and Evan.
In accordance with Mr. Schultz’s wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
