Mr. Jonathan Patrick Calhoun

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Jonathan Patrick Calhoun, age 32, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Monday, December 15, 2025. Mr. Calhoun was born in Dade City, Florida the son of Sheryl Smith Barnes of Jefferson, Georgia and Patrick Wayne Calhoun of North Carolina. 

Jonathan enjoyed working as a pipe fitter with United Association 72 and was a member of Jefferson Church, Jefferson, Georgia. He enjoyed playing his guitar but most of all, he loved his two girls.

Survivors include mother and step-father, Sheryl and David Barnes of Jefferson, GA and father, Patrick W. Calhoun of North Carolina. Two daughters, Audrey Elizabeth Calhoun of Dothan, AL and Lainey Banks Calhoun of Hoschton, GA. Two sisters, Heather Oliver (Joshua) of Dawson, GA and Kenidie Barnes of Wesley Chapel, FL. Brother, Devon Barnes of New York. 

In accordance with Mr. Calhoun’s wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
