Mr. Josh Taylor Westmoreland

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Joshua Taylor Westmoreland, age 27, of Jemison, Alabama who entered rest Tuesday August 9, 2022. Mr. Westmoreland was born in Alabaster, Alabama the son of Jennifer Westmoreland. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Harper Westmoreland and a cousin, Jeffrey Mason Westmoreland. He worked for John’s Tree Service, Jemison, Alabama, and was a 2013 graduate of Commerce High School.

Survivors include wife, Cameo Nicole Westmoreland of Jemison, AL. Daughter, Ella Elizabeth Westmoreland of Jemison, AL. Son, William Owen Westmoreland of Jemison, AL. Mother, Jennifer Westmoreland of Jefferson, GA. Father, Chris Sawyer of Dahlonega, Ga. Grandparents, Al and Anita Westmoreland of Jefferson, GA, Amanda Frye of Jemison, AL, and Greg Frye of Alabaster, AL. Brother, Christopher Sawyer of Dahlonega, GA. Two sisters, Madison Sawyer, and Abigail Sawyer both of Jefferson, GA. Special Uncle, Jeff Westmoreland (wife, Brittani) of Helen, Ga. Cousins, Ally, and Mary Grace Westmoreland.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Woodbine Cemetery with Reverend G. Richard Hoard officiating. The family will receive friends 12 P.M.  until 1:30 P.M. prior to the graveside service at Evans Funeral Home. Honored as pallbearers, Alex McCown, Nick Henderson, Tyre Treadwell, Trea Edwards, Christopher Sawyer, and Jake Tate.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Mountain Valley Community Bank P.O. Box 757, Jefferson, Georgia 30549 for the Ella, and Owen Westmoreland Children’s Fund.
